then go sell those on the streets of new york city at a substantial profits. as a trafficker, i would not make that purchase myself. i would send in a straw buyer to make a purchase. that's a straw buyer is a person who does not ever criminal record. so you would think he's going to go in and purchase five weapons. he would not do that. if he purchased five, the dealer would have to file a multiple. sales multiple that is a tipoff to the atf that trafficking is going to take place. instead of purchasing five from one dealer or 50 from one dealer, he goes to one dealer and purchases one and then to another dealer for another, until he accumulates them. you would think why does the fbi and not cross check those purchases if they know multiple purchases are an indication of trafficking? they cannot cross check them because of teart. that said the records have to be destroyed within 24 hours. the government is prevented from cross checking, predicted from connecting the dots. if you are conducting an investigation, a criminal investigation, you want to connect the dots. the amendment proh

-election effort, they announced today that they'd be doing 100 events in cities across the country tomorrow to push for gun reform, everything from candlelight vigils to groups of people getting together to all write letters to the editor in favor of reform. the idea here is the same as having victims of gun violence turn up and introduce themselves and ask pointed questions at lawmakers' town hall meetings. it's the same idea as a pro-reform political action committee hanging the a rating from the nra around the neck of that congressional candidate in illinois to make it so she likely cannot win the democratic primary for congress because she is too close to the nra and that's not okay anymore, at least in democratic politics. it's the same thinking behind these near-daily events from vice president biden, all addressing the issue of gun reform. it's the same thinking as the almost as frequent mentions and events from president obama himself, including the long emotional case he made for reform in the state of the union. it's all the same idea, which is to change the political momentum on

popular. but he does come across sometimes as the ultimate nanny mayor. nanny state nanny city, if you will. i mean remember, he's the guy that said no smoking in the bars and restaurants. no smoke even outside -- have to keep a certain distance away of bars and restaurants. he banned msg. he made the restaurants put their calorie counts on the menus and he's the guy most recently said you can't buy any soda larger than a 16 ounce drink. right? so all of that kind of stuff yeah people say he's kind of gone too far. by the way i think those are all good measures. should the government be doing that? probably but it's still a pain in the ass, let's say. on guns, he has really stood up, tall and straight! i say that for a man who's probably only about five foot tall. he has been great. so he just got tired of the fact -- he's long been a supporter of tough gun control measures and tough gun safety measures. but he got tired of the fact and frustrated when there were so many politicians who might want to do something about gun control but were afraid to because of the nra and the political
